Smerdon Apartment

Major renovation to this apartment. The existing 1960’s fit-out was in serious need of refurbishing. Clients were very keen on an all-white clean interior. Some clever design solutions were required to redesign the layout of the Bathrooms and a new Walk-in Robe for the Main Bedroom alongside a new Study area. Ceiling heights were kept high while introducing ducted air-conditioning throughout the apartment. The existing separate outdoor balcony was opened up and included in the indoor living space by introducing beams where external walls were removed. An indoor/outdoor BBQ fits into the bench close to the fully openable external glass doors with glass balustrading adjacent allowing great views of the river and access to the cooling summer breeze.
